A Terracotta plant expert will guide you on how to create your very own work of art - a Kokedama!
A Kokedama is a style of potting up plants in a ball covered in moss, with a wide range of options to display them. In this workshop you will also learn how to care for your Kokedama by developing a relationship with your living piece of art and keep it looking beautiful for years to come. At the end of the workshop, you will take home your very own Kokedama creation and walk away with a newfound appreciation for this century-old Japanese tradition of exhibiting plants and appreciating their elegant root system.
All materials and tools that you need, such as soil, moss, will be provided. Ticket for entry is $25, and total Price will vary depending on what plants you select from the store. If you have a specific stand or holder at home, you can bring that with you to the workshop. Although we kindly ask you that you refrain from bringing plants into Terracotta to help preserve our Pest Management Protocol.
