Details
Ninjas will explore the amazing world of Microsoft MakeCode! This will include creating a retro-style arcade game with MakeCode Arcade. This will having us combining the power of coding and game design to develop games like classic platformers and adventure games. We will then use that same platform to learn about the physical world of microcontrollers using the Micro:Bit. By using the coding skills and the Micro:Bit hardware we can make things like a pedometer, digital pet and more!
Code Ninjas is coming to Boulder to teach us the skills we need to start making our own retro arcade games!
This camp is for kids 8+ with a strong interest in learning how we can code to make games and work with hardware. This camp will have us working on the computer using the keyboard and mouse.
