The New Local is excited to welcome you to the opening reception of Beth Van De Water's stunning exhibition "Los Corazones." On Friday, November 17, from 5-9 p.m., join Beth and guests in TNL's Annex (713 Pearl St., Boulder) to view and shop the collection. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and hear more from Beth about her artistic journey and inspiration.

As The New Local's latest Artist-in-Residence, Beth Van De Water brings a moving, evocative and diverse collection of work to The New Local's Annex. The Colorado native's exhibition "Los Corazones" features an array of handcrafted embroidered pieces steeped in both the Mexican and European tradition, stirring paintings, anatomical-heart fabric sculptures, dioramas, jewelry and more. Inspired by the resiliency and tenderness of the human heart, Beth creates layered work that speaks to the human condition and sparks a range of emotions in viewers.
