Join us for a revolutionary night of live music featuring independent rap,.hip-hop artists, and ms from across the Front Range.
a growing movement of hopeful poets, visual artists, and urban philosophers added their visions and voices by whatever means available. we got the word out about what was happening in our communities; much of mainstream, America was doing its best to ignore or run down. Hip Hop kept coming, kept pushing, kept playing until that was no longer possible. In the face of all that, people refused to shut down and created new ways, experimenting with new styles of poetry and visual arts, the elements grooving together into a culture. MCs tell complex stories in rhythm and rhyme. Rappers write and polish their lyrics before delivering them in raps, and injecting energy into performance.
MCs, Rappers, Hip-hop artists have been pivotal to the evolution of hip hop culture. Moving the crowd, electrifying the audience, using lyrical wit to keep crowds engaged. that's exactly what artists have been doing from the very beginning.
shout-out to the artists out there who continue to step up their game and keep pushing the evolution of hip hop even further.
