Every week we meet and read out loud the Sermon on the Mount from various translation of the Bible. We have been doing this for months and plan to continue it for months. We haven't stopped finding new ideas in it! "Go the extra mile," "turn the other cheek," "love your enemies," "do to others as you would have them do to you," the Lord's Prayer, the beatitudes....these are all in this sermon. It takes 20 minutes to read it straight through, but people usually come up with new ideas to discuss and so it usually takes an hour.
