Despite their love of a good standard, the Dot Combo are anything but your typical jazz group. Comprised of guitarists Jake Moss and Stephen Anderson and bassist Ryan Servis, the unconventional trio draws as much inspiration from the sepia tones of Les Paul and Django Reinhardt as they do from left-field arrangements of Tom Waits and Broadcast in crafting a sound all their own. With a shared telepathy honed by years of creating together, the group's sensitive, exploratory interplay exudes the kind warmth that could only come from their shared roots.
