Womb Celebration for Mothers Day
With Cassi + Veronica
Sunday, May 8 — 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Description: What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to celebrate our first planet, the womb? Our original home is the womb. The womb is our creative space. Join Veronica, a visiting teacher from Chicago, and Cassi, resident teacher at Yoga Pearl in a two-hour womb celebration and co-regulation. Open to all bodies and levels of experience! Expect movement, meditation, journaling prompts, and experiential anatomy of the pelvic bowl and pelvic floor. Veronica and Cassi have co-taught prenatal and postnatal yoga trainings, playful yoga workshops, and international yoga retreats together for the past decade. In addition, they partnered together as birth doulas in Chicago.

This class is open to all gender identities and ages. The yoga class will be suitable for prenatal and postnatal bodies.

Both Veronica and Cassi are experienced yoga teachers and continual students of the somatic arts. Veronica is a student of Somatic Experiencing and Cassi is currently getting her master’s in somatic psychotherapy at Naropa. They weave together their interdisciplinary studies and skills to celebrate the creative power within each of us. Wear comfortable clothes, a journal and we will create a “womb altar” bring a sacred item to place on the altar (you will get it back).
