Downtown Boulder Partnership Celebrates Downtown Workers During Employee Appreciation Week
Office Olympics takes place today at 4:00 pm outside the Boulder County Courthouse
Boulder, CO [June 8, 2022] – All week long, Downtown Boulder Partnership and participating businesses have shown appreciation for the employees that make our district such a great place to live, work and play. With BOGO coffee deals, lunch specials, massage chairs and more, this week is about giving back to the people that make downtown so special. Find a full list of events here.
The celebration continues later this afternoon with the annual Office Olympics competition from 4 - 5 pm on the Boulder County Courthouse lawn. Watch teams of downtown businesses battle it out in “Minute to Win It”-style Office Olympics games hosted by Elevations Credit Union and Office Partners on Pearl. Participants include:the City of Boulder, Galvanize, Boulder County Commissioners' Office, Unico, JVA, Inc. and more!
The winning team receives bragging rights and the Employee Appreciation Traveling Trophy to display proudly at their business for the year as well as a $50 gift card from Dedalus Wine Shop & Market. After the games commence, the teams will celebrate with a happy hour at Bohemian Biergarten.
Other highlights of the week include free chair massages from Symmetry360 Massage on Thursday from 11 am - 1 pm, guided yoga on the Courthouse lawn with Whole Sol on Friday from 11 am - 12 pm and lawn games outside the Courthouse on Friday from 3 - 5 pm.
