[Boulder, Colorado - May 17, 2019]  On May 16, 2019 Colorado-based artist Patrick Kane McGregor completed two new interactive murals on the exterior side wall of the former Old Chicago’s space on 11th Street in downtown Boulder.  The Downtown Boulder Partnership, through a partnership with Boulder’s And Art Space, and with support from PMD Realty, commissioned the mural which McGregor has titled the “Boulder Bubble Mural”.

“We are excited for this opportunity to bring an interactive mural to downtown Boulder,” said Terri Takata-Smith, VP of Marketing for the Downtown Boulder Partnership.   “We hope that locals and visitors seek out the mural this summer and enjoy sharing their experience downtown with friends and family through social media.”

The small mural measures approximately 7.5’ X 8’ while the bigger mural is approximately 9.25’ X 10’.  The murals are tied together under the theme of bubbles.   The whimsical design can be found just south of the Pearl Street Mall on 11th Street.
