A Downtown Boulder Guide to Super Bowl 55

Hey, Downtown Boulder Readers!

Like everything else over the past year, Super Bowl viewing might be a bit different than usual. No worries though, because the restaurants in downtown Boulder want to help you make this year’s Super Bowl just as fun as any other year.

One of the best parts of watching the Super Bowl for me is the excuse to eat good food all day long. If you are feeling Italian food, Pasta Jay’s is offering special wings, sandwiches, pizza, and beer all day Sunday from 12pm - 9pm (2/7).

Pizzeria Locale is also offering special game-day pies, like The Hawaiian which sounds amazing if you are a pineapple-on-pizza type of person (I am). If you prefer your pizza without fruit on it, opt for The Philly or Locale Wings which are crispy chicken wings soaked in Calabrian chili and honey glaze. You also won’t have to worry about picking up on game-day, because you can set your pickup day to Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

If you are looking for some classic meaty options, OAK at Fourteenth is having Resident Bostonian Mike Katzen shaving up slow roasted beef at noon on Sunday.

Watching the game from your couch with some good food is the best way to watch Super Bowl LV this year. If you live in a college town where access to good cable is limited (like me), or you aren’t sure how to watch the game, let me offer some ideas. Super Bowl LV will be broadcast on CBS if you do have cable, but if not then you can watch the game for free on CBSSports.com or the CBS Sports App on your phone. YouTube TV and Hulu's premium Live TV package both offer CBS for full coverage of the game, as well.

So Sunday at 6:30 PM EST, let's all sit back and watch Brady and Mahomes fight for the win.

Talk Soon,

Ally
