The Downtown Boulder Partnership provides visitation reports using Placer.ai data, courtesy of the City of Boulder. These reports help businesses and community members understand visitation patterns throughout the Downtown Boulder Business Improvement District (BID) and within specific reporting areas.
Placer.ai Reports: 2025–Present
Reports include data for the entire BID and five reporting areas. The block numbers below correspond to the accompanying reporting area map:
Downtown Boulder: The entire BID
West End: Blocks 1–11
Pearl Street: Blocks 13–14, 17–18, 22–23 and 26–27
Earlier reports were provided by MRI (Springboard), using anonymized cameras to count pedestrian impressions at 11th and Pearl (West End), Pearl and Broadway (Pearl Street Mall) and 15th and Pearl (East End). Because the data sources and reporting areas differ, these counts should not be directly compared with the Placer.ai reports.
