About the Book:
With carefully curated social media and news stories, it can be easy to forget that successful people have had their own hardships to overcome. But everyone faces obstacles and setbacks throughout their life, regardless of race, gender, faith, or social status.
In "Over, Under, Around, and Through," the authors craft biographies of fifty successful women, based on interviews and historical records. In the process, they uncover some of the secrets to how these women surmounted obstacles and used the lessons they learned through hardship to become stronger, smarter, and more resilient. The women featured in the book have all been inducted into halls of fame across the United States and the world, and each of their profiles discusses how they handled significant challenges in their lives.
