Instructor: Carolann Wachter

Using a common departure point of a still life with a floral focal point, we will observe and draw with scissors; building color relationships and playing with shapes, we will construct a spatial dialogue between all of the elements. Focusing on mixing colors that vibrate together as well as those that resonate on a personal level, we will look at color as light and color as value. We will then move into exploring the shapes and playing with composition. No prior painting experience needed. All levels and beginners welcome!

*There will be a 20-30 break mid-class.
