Downtown Boulder Employee Assistance Fund

The Downtown Boulder Community Initiatives created the Employee Assistance Fund in late March 2020 to support downtown employees who were unexpectedly unemployed or under-employed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Employers were invited to nominate eligible employees or recently laid off employees for gifts from the fund. 

During 2020 and the first part of 2021, the Downtown Boulder Community Initiatives gifted 92 employees of downtown businesses with over $42,000 from the fund. The fund was the result of generous donations from members of our community. Thank you for all your support!
