Hey, downtown...Happy Women's History Month!
Every March, we look back at women's ‘Herstory,’ as we celebrate women's achievements and promote women's rights worldwide. I am so grateful to be surrounded by successful and empowered women in my personal life and at the Downtown Boulder Partnership (DBP)!
Downtown Boulder is filled with women-owned and women-run businesses and to celebrate them all, we’ve put together this awesome list for you to check out and support!
One of my personal favorite shops downtown is Bliss - a lovely gift boutique with three generations of female owners within their business ‘herstory.’ The owners, Michelle Vargo and Hannah Harem, support local artists by showcasing a variety of cool items in an effort to spread their playful spirit downtown! Bliss is my go-to for any gift and my favorite place to bring visitors, specifically my mom when she is in town. From adorable stuffed animals and greeting cards to journals and home decorations, Bliss always has something unique. Their store also shines with natural light, making their window displays and colorful creations pop.
I am so happy and proud to be surrounded by such strong, supportive and kind women in Boulder and worldwide. I hope women have the desire and confidence to create ‘herstory’ and share it with the community this month (and every month)!
