Lately, Mother Nature has been giving Boulder some beautiful weather. This past weekend my sister visited and we went on a search for a restaurant with the perfect patio. There are so many great patios in the downtown district that we all can keep taking advantage of before the cold hits! Here’s a list of some notable patios downtown ideal for enjoying the outdoors with a delicious meal.
Pasta Jay’s has a lovely patio. This is actually where my sister and I ended up eating. They have a wrap-around patio with tables for two as well as bar stools. With Pasta Jay’s tasty Italian food, you can take in a clear view of the Flatirons while eating a hearty meal.
Another place on the West End with a great patio is West End Tavern. They have a heated rooftop patio where you can breathe in the mountain air from higher ground. West End Tavern is known for their BBQ, craft beers on tap and largest bourbon selection in Colorado! This makes it an awesome place to sit outside and enjoy happy hour.
Other restaurants that have notably large patios in downtown include: Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant which has a rooftop patio with a nice view and worthy happy hour; Centro Mexican Kitchen - another Mexican restaurant with an ample amount of outdoor seating; and Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. There half of the tables are available for dining outside! While these restaurants are mostly on the West End or Pearl Street Mall, there are plenty of options on the East End such as: Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, Foolish Craig’s, Pizzeria Locale, and Tune Up at Full Cycle - just to name a few.
If you can’t grab a seat outdoors at one place, it’s good to know that there are lots of other restaurants in downtown that offer patio seating as well - no matter what end of the district you’re on! Click here for a complete list of patio options in downtown Boulder! Regardless of the food you’re craving, you can find the patio perfect for you!
Enjoy basking in the sun!
