Two Places You Should Grab a Bite to Eat at

Hey Downtown,

French fries, two drinks, and a buffalo chicken sandwich are on a table outside

There are many places to grab a bite along the four blocks of the Pearl Street Mall and even more delicious places along the East and West End districts. Today, I’m sharing two of my favorites. The first place is an old favorite of mine ( I used to go there all the time in high school with my friends) and the other is a new-to-me place that I can see myself returning to again and again in the future. Both places are amazing and offer a wide variety of food options.

I have loved Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Häagen-Dazs since I was a teen and all of the homemade recipes they serve. Lindsay and her team offer breakfast, soups, sandwiches, almost anything ice cream related and more. It is a fast paced environment (think NY-style deli), but the quality of the food and the awesome staff are worth it. My go to sandwich is the Buffalo Chicken or the Pearl Street Garden Veggie. Both sandwiches are delicious and nothing like I’ve had anywhere else. If I were to get ice cream during my visit, my go to is either a cone or shake of their mint chip ice cream, but they do have many other flavors and sometimes carry seasonal flavors that I might indulge in if I wanted to mix things up. When I was there last week, I saw that they had a pumpkin spice shake. I’ll have to try that out before it goes out of season!

Foolish Craig’s was a place I mentioned I wanted to go to in my first blog, and here I am after going there! I loved every second of my experience. The staff was attentive and the food was mouth watering. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and it was so delicious I had to take my time eating it. They also have a large breakfast menu accompanied with salads, soups and veggie friendly options! I think next time I go I want to try their crepes or pancakes. They’ve been featured on Food Networks Diners, Drive Ins and Dives twice for their food! I think it’s safe to say that Foolish Craig’s is a great place for brunch with friends or an easy going day date.

Both of these places are amazing, but I also know there’s other spots that are just as great and I can’t wait to try them out! I’m not a foodie, but I do know good and delicious food when I eat. Let me know about your favorite places downtown, send me an email at intern@downtownboulder.org . I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time,

Cash
