Girls' Day with Lindsay's Boulder Deli

Lindsay Shaw has been selling ice cream since she was old enough to see above the counter, giving out free samples and dipping cones before the age of 10. She bought her shop in 2004 because she wanted to be an entrepreneur serving the best ice cream in the world along with fresh and delicious soups, sandwiches and salads. She's proud to be a hiking, yogi, wine drinking Boulderite and wants to share her passion and excitement with everyone around her.

I'm so passionate about Lindsay's Boulder Deli @ Haagen Dazs, but man, do we have some great restaurants and shopping in Downtown Boulder! My ideal day downtown is definitely a girls day with my two besties, Leah and Colleen.

We would begin at Piece, Love & Chocolate for a cookie and some delicious chocolates.

Then, we would have scheduled a class to take at Two Hands Paperie. We recently attended an origami class there that is awesome...I'd highly recommend it! It's now time to walk the Boulder Creek Path. Do we need a tea at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse house for a quick pick- me up? After that, happy hour at Pizzeria Locale is a must! The Aperol Spritz for my girls and a glass of Champagne for me! Is it time for a nap yet?!

I haven't mentioned the local artists and street performers? I mean, who cannot stop watching the man in the box for a least a minute. We take our sweet time walking down the mall, taking it all in, before we call it quits for the day.

Why Downtown?

Downtown Boulder is vibrant, fun, and full of community. I love supporting my friends, the local business owners of Pearl Street Mall. I love to cheer them on, discuss business, and watch the tourists!
