Self-Care Day with Clean Your Dirty Face
Samantha Sowa is the owner of Clean Your Dirty Face, a one stop shop for facials and all-natural skin care products just off of the Pearl Street Mall. Their 5 step process is customized to fit specific skin types and leave you with healthy, glowing skin in less than 30 minutes. At Mud, they believe that the solution to brighter, more youthful skin is though routine skincare and shorter facials, more often. Stop by to see Sam or one of her awesome estheticians to #cleanyourdirtyface!
The ultimate self-care day starts with a cup of coffee from local Boxcar Coffee on East Pearl to help kick start a busy day. Next, window shopping down Pearl Street to one of my favorite spots Bliss. You can find anything in this store, but I love that they range from cards and gifts to household items and jewelry. I always leave with something! If you're looking for a new purse, bag, or backpack, I'd suggest stopping into local Sherpani. They make some of the chicest most fashionable bags I've ever seen. They have a huge selection and assortment of bags, I especially love the backpack I got; it's sleek, velor, and holds more than you'd think! The straps are actually comfortable and it even has a pouch for my laptop, which comes in handy when having to do work on the go while still remaining fashionable.
Moving West down Pearl, I'd grab a little chocolate pick-me-up over at Kilwin's. This place has everything for your sweet tooth. Ranging from fudge to ice cream to truffles, Kilwin's will definitely satisfy that sweet tooth. My next stop would be Free People for some extreme retail therapy. I can always count on Free People to have the cutest most up to date boho chic clothing. Stop into Peppercorn to get something for the house or for mom. I could spend all day in that store and find a gift for everyone on my holiday list.
Getting hungry? Time for lunch! Feeling tacos? T|ACO is the place to go. Sandwiches? Cured always hits it out of the park (my favorite is the seasonal Peaches + Brie). Sushi? Hapa is my ultimate favorite spot and they know it. They literally know my order now. Amazing sushi and staff!
After lunch, I like to stop into Boulder Nepal to browse the beautiful jewelry and smell all the amazing incense and candles. They have amazing items from all over the world. If you need a little afternoon pick-me-up, Wonder has some delicious cold pressed juices to lift your spirits and immune system.
After a full day of shopping and browsing downtown Boulder, be sure to stop into Mud to pamper, relax, and #cleanyourdirtyface. After shopping for others, it's always good to give yourself the gift of a little self-care.
After treating yourself to a wonderful facial, grab a drink and a bite to eat at one of my favorite places on the mall; the Bohemian Biergarten! Amazing German food, beer, live music, and staff, this place is my go-to to unwind with friends and family.
