Summer Saturday with Boulder Tour Company

Stephen Walker loves to ride bikes. It’s been his first passion since he was a little boy. When he lived in Russia as an eight-year-old, his parents made sure to bring his Western Flyer. Stephen owns and operates Boulder Tour Company, a lovely fun E-Bike fat tire touring business in downtown Boulder. They offer three wonderful E-bike tours in and around Boulder as well as custom tours.

My favorite thing to do on a summer Saturday is take clients on fat tire e-bike tours. I like to start my tours from the famous Hotel Boulderado. This amazing historic landmark opened in 1909 and is a sight to see.

From the Boulderado I like to take 13th street to the Boulder County Farmers Markets. It’s a nice ride passing the Pearl Street Mall. The Farmers Market is a great place to relax by the Boulder Creek and get a bite to eat.

If clients need restaurant recommendations, my favorites are the roasted half chicken at The Kitchen and happy hour at Jax Fish House.

While I’m downtown, my favorite place to shop is Patagonia - They recently opened a new flagship store on the East End.

With so many great shopping and dining options, downtown Boulder is the best place to spend a summer Saturday.
