Weekend Visitors with Honey

Brooke Lorimer moved to Boulder 6 years ago and knew she found a fast home. You can find her supporting the day to day operations at Honey as their Office Manager. Honey is an innovative tech company who gives people the tools it takes to find the best savings, perks and all around value when it comes to spending money online. When she’s not working, you can find her on the Boulder Creek Path walking west with a fresh matcha latte from Spruce Confections in hand.

Whenever we have team members from other Honey locations visit the first stop is our very own office here in Boulder! We've got a great view of the Flatirons from our patio that sets the stage for a special week. Then we'd hit Centro for tacos and Boulder's best nachos. After that I always recommend we refuel with a latte from Spruce Confections. Our first office in Boulder was in the complex above Spruce, so it's always sweet for us to stop by there together!

I like to put together a little welcome bag for our visitors full of local goodies, a postcard from Two Hands Paperie, a sticker made by a local artist from Art Source International, and of course a Chocolove bar that I pick up from Lolita's. When visitors ask for recommendations, I of course say the Boulder Book Store, and Piece, Love & Chocolate for a treat!

Our team likes to go to Press Play after work for a round of drinks and ping pong together. It's a way we love to connect and laugh together as a team. We love a cozy atmosphere with guests and often go to Bramble & Hare to enjoy a local menu. Pizzeria Locale is another great option with their amazingly fresh oven fired pizza. The Kitchen Upstairs is great for an after dinner drink!

Among the many things our team likes to do together, a walk along the creek and up to the mini Red Rocks Trail is a must!

Why Downtown?

Downtown Boulder is magical to me. The integration of nature in the city, in conjunction with it's unique coffee shops and kind locals makes downtown Boulder feel so livable.
